Managing Anxiety with Mindfulness
In today’s modern world there are so many competing priorities and daily stresses that more and more of us are suffering with anxiety.
From panic attacks to regular worrying about events that may or may not happen, feeling threatened , frightened and immobilised by worries to the point where you cannot live daily life, anxiety can be debilitating, exhausting and take over your life.
But there is hope
Mindfulness can bring relief to anxiety. By learning to accept anxiety, by treating it with compassion, kindness and sometimes curiosity that mindfulness brings
In this workshop we’ll cover:
- Using breathing techniques to manage symptoms
- Noticing the anxious thoughts you’re experiencing and observing them and letting them be
- Learning to do a body scan to connect with our physical selves
- Identifying and managing stresses and simplifying them to help reduce anxiety
